Now in its 50th year, The Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Ireland's most popular festivals. Over 200,000 visitors come from all over the world to enjoy the best in Irish and international music, parades, fireworks displays and of course the renowned Rose of Tralee Selection. This year promises to be even bigger and better than ever before. In excess of 1 million people are expected to tune in as the 2009 Rose of Tralee is crowned with the Newbridge Silverware Tiara.
