NEWBRIDGE SILVERWARE secures

MICHAEL JACKSON`S COSTUMES from HIS LAST EVER PERFORMANCE

as worn on April 24, 2002 at "A Night At The Apollo" (Democratic National Fundraiser)

* On public view from December 4th @ The Museum of Style Icons

There are two key dates that will forever resonate with Michael Jackson fans worldwide. The first is June 25th, 2009; the date of Michael's sudden death and the second is April 24th, 2002. On that Wednesday afternoon, over 7 years ago, millions of fans tuned into "A Night at the Apollo" to see their idol Michael Jackson perform.

At this time viewers were completely unaware that they were witnessing a most poignant piece of entertainment history. Over 7 years later, it would transpire that this in fact would be Michael Jackson's last ever public performance.

Having only agreed to perform upon the personal invitation of Bill Clinton - Michael, in spectacular fashion performed 3 songs during the event.

Subsequently, Jackson gifted the two costumes he wore during that performance, to the fiance a colleague backstage with well wishes for their engagement.

Last Saturday, Nov 21st, these two most iconic Jackson pieces caused a bidding frenzy at the auction held by Juliens Auction (Time square, New York)Eventually, amidst worldwide attention, William Doyle, CEO, Newbridge Silverware succeeded in securing these two ensembles, along with a selection of other key Jackson memorabilia.

The first notable piece is Michael Jackson's "Dangerous" Costume. This includes a custom red vinyl shirt with Velcro closures and a black tie. Over this shirt is a single button front closure suit jacket and signature arm band on right sleeve. Together with a black customer made fedora hat. These pieces were worn together during Michael's performance of "Dangerous".

The second key piece is Michael's costume from his performance of "Black or White" with guitarist Dave Navarro. This includes a white silk shirt and with a white cotton, right-hand forearm brace.Both costumes exhibit wear consistent with use and extensive makeup residue.

Additionally Newbridge Silverware has secured the item underpinning this whole performance - the Michael Jackson and Bill Clinton signed Back Stage Pass. Notably, it was former President Bill Clinton's personal invitation that persuaded Jackson to perform and in fact Clinton also introduced him onstage that night in 2002.

MICHAEL JACKSON APOLLO THEATER PERFORMANCE DANGEROUS

A custom red vinyl costume shirt with Velcro closures and bodysuit style bottom with a sewn on black tie. Shirt shows evidence of wear and makeup residue at neck. A black wool single button front closure suit jacket with black silk lining and signature white silk armband on right sleeve. Together with black wool fedora with black gross grain ribbon hat band with bow at left and custom tether at back brim to keep the brim curved upward at a sharp angle during performance.

These pieces were worn together during Jackson's performance of Dangerous at the April 24, 2002 "A Night At The Apollo" Democratic National Fundraiser.

Jackson gifted the items to the fiance of a colleague backstage with well wishes for their engagement. This was Jackson's last public performance in the United States.

MICHAEL JACKSON WHITE SHIRT AND FOREARM BRACE APOLLO THEATER PERFORMANCE COSTUME

A white silk, long sleeve button down shirt on a hanger reading "Academy Award Clothes Est. 1950 Los Angeles". The shirt is being sold together with white cotton, right-hand forearm brace. The brace has been customized by attaching the laces to three separate metal buckles reading "WHBCO" each with Velcro closures. The brace shows wear consistent with use and extensive makeup residue.

These pieces were worn together during Jackson's performance of the song Black Or White with rock guitarist Dave Novarro, at the Apollo Theater. Jackson performed three songs there on April 24, 2002 for "A Night At The Apollo" a Democratic National Fundraiser which reportedly raised $2.5 million dollars for a national voter registration drive.

Jackson was introduced to the stage that night by President Clinton. Jackson gifted the items to the fiance of a colleague backstage with well wishes for their engagement. This was Jackson's last public performance in the United States.
