THE BEATLES SUITS ARRIVE AT THE NEWBRIDGE

 SILVERWARE MUSEUM OF STYLE ICONS


Newbridge Silverware are delighted to announce the arrival of the Four Beatles Suits to its ICON Museum


Since its official opening to the public on June 1st, the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons has welcomed thousands of visitors countrywide to its spectacular showcase.

Located onsite at the Newbridge Silverware Visitor Center, the Museum of Style Icons is a permanent exhibition dedicated to design and style excellence.
The Museum features signature pieces from Irelands most notable designers and showcases artifacts associated with some of the most legendary Stars of the Silverscreen including Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly Bette Davis, the Beatles, Gloria Swanson, Barbara Streisand, Julie Andrews, Vivien Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor, Gloria Swanson, Jean Simmons, Sarah Jessica Parker,  Barbara Stanwyck and many more

Some of the most notable pieces in the Museum include:
D.A. Millings Suits
Beatles - Four D.A. Millings Suits

Four D.A Millings suits, each with a D.A Millings tag noting which Beatle wore each suit.  Gray wool and black velvet collar, with blue lining. The Beatles had donated the items directly after having used them for the pre-promotion of 'A Hard Day`s Night'

An evening ensemble by Givenchy, the two pieces cocktail outfit comprising a fitted sleeveless top and corresponding skirt of black wool moss crepe trimmed with imitation jet paillettes, lined in blacksilk, the top labelled inside Givenchy, Paris, - made for and worn by Audrey Hepburn as Regina 'Reggie' Lampert in the 1963 Universal film 'Charade'

A hot pink cocktail dress worn by Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany's, 1961.  The knee-length sleeveless dress of hot pink silk, decorated all over with fan-shaped appliques accented with small rhinestones, with matching pink bow to the waist was made for Audrey Hepbun as Holly Golightly in the 1961 Paramount film Breakfast At Tiffany's.
