Regency Jewels founded by the Polowitz family in 1950 traded and produced costume jewellery under Regency Novelty in New York right through to 1970. Known for their use of colourful glass and high-quality rhinestones their designs were comparable to those of Florenza and Hollycraft Jewellery with the butterfly brooch being most notable.
Specializing in brooches, pins and earrings, Regency jewels were sold in the department stores of New York, Chicago and other large US cities until the company ceased trading in 1970.
