The Designer
Jean Marie Poinot a French couture designer is best known for his use of Bakelite in large runway items of jewellery especially large bangles and bracelets.
Many of these products were produced by the same company that produced Dior in the 1980’s. Poinot also worked and created statement pieces for Chanel, Lanvin and Gautier. His pieces today are considered highly collectible.
