About Our EPNS Cutlery
EPNS is Electro Plated Nickel Silver. Our EPNS cutlery features a coating of pure silver which is deposited by the process of electrolysis onto a brass alloy of copper, zinc and nickel, traditionally known as ‘nickel silver’.
For decades our Electro Plated Silverware has adorned the tables of stately homes, embassies, 5 star hotels and restaurants. The thickness of the silver plate determines the durability of our tableware. Newbridge Silverware (assuming normal domestic use and the following of our simple ‘care of cutlery’ guidelines) carries a 55 year guarantee. This is a true testament to the quality of our product.

Heritage
For over 80 years Newbridge Silverware has been designing and crafting quality cutlery at its manufacturing facility in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, Ireland. Setup in 1934 to bolster the local economy, the company quickly earned a reputation for design and craftsmanship and soon too price of place in homes throughout Ireland.
