Since the 1920’s Trifari has been one of the most respected and admired producers of costume jewellery in the United States. In the 1930’s it was the arrival of the French designer Alfred Philippe from the design house of Van Clef & Arpels that brought a level of craftsmanship never before seen in costume jewellery that has made Trifari very collectible to this day.
