About Our Silver Plated Cutlery

EPNS is Electro Plated Nickel Silver. Our Silver Plated (EPNS) cutlery features a coating of pure silver which is deposited by the process of electrolysis onto a brass alloy of copper, zinc and nickel, traditionally known as nickel silver.

For decades our Electro Plated Silverware has adorned the tables of stately homes, embassies, 5 star hotels and restaurants. The thickness of the silver plate determines the durability of our tableware. For over 90 years Newbridge Silverware has been designing and crafting quality cutlery at its manufacturing facility in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, Ireland.
